TORNEDALEN Tells a story of immearusable value of nature through art. The theme of the exhibition is the nature of The Tornio River area as well as locall stories and mythologies. The Tornio River Valley ( in Swedish Tornedalen) is on the both sides of the border of Sweden snd Finland and river runs on the border. Connection between old stories and people of the area has been deep trough the ages and it was interesting to highlight it and visualise it. As an artists Kalliokuusi and Linhart connects "underground-world" of the Tornio River Valleys stories to "on the ground"-word they are telling us about the roots of the exhibition: special places, habits and beliefs, magic and soul.

At the same time they want to take stand for pure nature and make people interested protecting nature and help understand how important clean environment is for all of us.

My soul sister in organic art's BIRGITTA LINHART is a sculptor from Luleå, Sweden. She uses mainly nature material in her works. Different seasons offers different materials etc. stones, wood and snow. The use of nature materials gives her interesting and sensitive "partner" at every stage of her work.
